Born and raised in Bklyn, NY, moved
to Jamaica, Qns. in 1972. That's when it all began!!! Started playing guitar in 6th grade and was taught by a very spiritual,talented
and attentive(by the way,did I say gorgeous,LOL) young lady that lived down the block from me named Juanita (Nina) Horton(cousin
of famed guitarist Steve Horton). I Always loved music just really couldn't figure out which instrument to make my own, so
I tried them all(LOL).By time I left Andrew Jackson HS, I was exposed to the baddesst KATS in Jamaica Qns and NY for that
matter!!!(ie. Lesette Wilson, Bill Dotts,Tom Browne,Bernard Wright,Nina Horton,Omar,Qabid,Haasan Hakim,Barry Johnson, Camille
Gainer,Abdul Zuhri,Jerry Brooks,Kevin Perry,Rob Ford,Stan Thompson,Marcus Miller,Kevin Harrington,Howie and Hankie Grate,James
Jackson Jr.(R.I.P), Steve Teele,Mike Flythe,Fritz Kadet, Kaleb James,Hugo Peterson(R.I.P),David Brown(guitarist)and bands
like, Funkhouse Express,Harlem River Drive,Soul Inspiration,Many Faces of Soul, Flavor,Midtown TNT,JackSass,The FireBolts,The
Solar Flares,Doc Ice, Phase III,Crown Heights Affair,Entourage,and Natural Explosion(tribute to my brother and close friend,
Carl Morton,aka, DJ Woody Wood & bassist(R.I.P)and the list goes on.. I finally made bass my instrument of choice and
was blessed to have been able to make a living at it for a while,seeing the the states and some parts of the globe. Went on
to write and produced house music tracks as a ghost writer for a while,then hit bumps in the road of life that derailed it(
let's call it what it is!!! Bad life choices!!! LOL)Spent some time living in Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC, El Paso TX to regroup
and get things back to the right perspective.Thanks to life long friends and new ones, I'M BACK ON THE BLOCK!!! Sometimes
